'La dame au béret' will be part of TRACES LONDON 2014 (five of my hats will be exhibited and available to purchase).Traces is an immersive and theatrical multi-disciplinary art & design event inspired by real stories and histories of buildings. From Friday 7th February until Sunday 16th February, 'Traces' will take a neglected old building and bring it alive again with the smells, tastes, touches and sounds of days gone by. June 2013 - Earlier this month, 'La dame au béret' took part in two amazingly beautiful photoshoots. Firstly, for the romantic Bohemian wedding venue 'The Keeper of the Dell' (www.thekeeperandthedell.com), styled by 'A Most Curious Party' (www.amostcuriousparty.co.uk). The bespoke pieces featured are 'English Rose' (middle one on the 3 top images) and 'Kaila' (which looks magnificent with a veil!):

August 2012 - 'Hat Works' in Stockport, near Manchester, is one of the only museums dedicated to millinery and the hat-making industry. I have been thinking about visiting the place for quite a while now and just as I was planning to go to their current exhibition 'Hot Heads - Inspirational British Millinery' (12 July 2012 - 06 January 2013), I was surprisingly delighted to be contacted by the curator, Sharon Bainbridge, about exhibiting some 'La dame au béret' creations next year! It won't be before June 2013, a little while to go, but I will, of course, keep you posted nearer the date. I am really excited about this fantastic opportunity.
